FacebookTweetMuch-loved rapper Heavy D, who collapsed and died suddenly on Nov. 8, fell victim to a pulmonary embolism – a blood clot in his lung – among other ailments, according to a coroner's officer's report released Tuesday.

Heavy D (real name: Dwight Arrington Meyers), 44, had collapsed outside his Beverly Hills condo after he suffered difficulty breathing while returning from a morning shopping trip, police said at the time. He later died at Los Angeles Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Besides the blood clot, which likely formed over the course of a long plane ride, the influential '90s rapper also suffered from heart disease and deep leg vein thrombosis, according to Craig Harvey, chief of the Los Angeles County department of coroner.

The coroner's report also stated, "manner of death: natural."

This is just awful!

In just a few days, it will be one year since I survived a second pulmonary embolism. I was diagnosed and hospitalized on New Year's Eve 2010 after suffering shortness of breath. The doctors found one clot in my lung. I spent eleven days in the hospital.

The previous year, the doctors found more than a dozen clots in my lungs. I had been sick and short of breath for weeks and didn't go to the doctor. I am lucky to be alive. I spent four days in ICU as... show more

My thoughts and prayers are with his family, having lost him so suddenly, and you too, that all you're doing keeps blood clots at bay. My mom has had 3 PEs, all of which sent her to the hospital for days at a time. It's such a blessing that she survived. She's having to do the same things you're doing to prevent another PE, and I pray that it works.

Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with Real Housewives of New Jersey star Kathy Wakile, and she told us all about her decision to invite Joe and Melissa Gorga over for Christmas last year, and why she doesn’t regret it even though Teresa was angry at her.

She also opens up about her latest venture — a red velvet cocktail!

Wetpaint Entertainment: Last year, we saw on RHONJ that Teresa was peeved you invited Joey and Melissa over to your house for Christmas Eve. What did you learn from that experience?

When I invited Joe, they were not on the best of terms. I didn’t know if they were going [to Teresa’s] they hadn’t made a decision yet or not. [Viewers] didn’t get a chance to see all that but I encouraged them to spend time wherever they wanted to spend time, they’re grown adults.

It was my intention at their Christmas party to actually try and mend some fences with Teresa and put our disagreement behind us so we could all be together on Christmas Eve and she could come to my house once again like we had done in the past so we could all be together, but I didn’t get that chance. I wanted her parents to come as well.

Having said that, I had encouraged Joe to spend time with his family, make sure that you go there and see your dad, and see your mom, and see your sister. Just know that if you want to stop by, we’re here, but if you don’t end up coming, that’s OK, too. I can’t put pressure on someone to spend time with me. That’s not my place to do that.

Both myself and my mother had encouraged him. I’m not going to tell him he’s not welcome, that’s for darn sure. I want to make sure that he knows he has a place to spend the holiday but first and foremost he should be spending it with his parents

Were you filming over Thanksgiving? Will you be filming on Christmas?

Our season has wrapped right now so, no.

Who will you be spending Christmas with this year?

Friends and family, my husbands family, my family, and whomever else would love to pop over. We always have a full house, the list always grows. It could change from year to year. We always keep it open that there is a gathering here and whoever wants to come is always welcome to come.

Any chance the whole Gorga, Wakile, Giudice clan will be together over Christmas this year?

I don’t know. I don’t know what their plans are. I know that Teresa has started to do Christmas Eve at her house, so since we’re already planning to have Christmas Eve here I don’t know that she would change her plans to come here.

What can we expect from Season 4?

You’re going to see a lot of different things. You’re going to be happy to know that there’s a lot of fun things that we’re doing and you’re going to see a little bit more of my sister Rosie and my mom.

You’re going to see a little bit more about my family and my background, my children. We go on vacation, take a few trips. [You’ll see] how our relationships have changed along the way and how they develop with the other ladies. I think it’s going to be a lot of fun.

We love Rosie!

She’s amazing. You’re going to love who she is and what she’s about. You’re going to be happy to see more of her in Season 4.

How’s the catering business going?

I’m working on my dessert line and I’m in the process of partnering with a bigger company to help me get these orders out. I actually had pastries at a Wetpaint event! It’s getting to be a little bit too much for me to handle and do on my own so I’m in the process of partnering up with another company so they can get the orders out on time and perfecting them for production and getting them out there so people can get them when they want them.

I’m just a one-man show here, I can’t do it all! I’m happy that people like my concept and what I can bring. It was a great turn out that night at that [Wetpaint] event.

I have a prepared cocktail based on my red velvet cake, so it’s a vodka-based prepared cocktail and it tastes just like red velvet cake. It’s called the Red Velvet Cosmo. Right now, it’s in production so I’m hoping that it’ll be in stores beginning of the new year, at the latest we’re thinking Valentines Day.

It’s a pretty red color, it’ll be a great thing to celebrate Valentine’s Day with!

Hello 2012

Towards the end of 2011 I had foot surgery and that put me back a little bit, but I have I hopes,prayer and luv to keep me going for new modeling,print, and commercial job adventures. Buttery Pecan Ice cream

Ingredients
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
1 tablespoon light brown sugar
Pinch salt
1 cup pecans, chopped
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 cups buttermilk
1/2 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 (5 1/3-ounce) can evaporated milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
In a large saute pan, melt the butter and then add the brown sugar, salt, and pecans, in that order, with a stir between each. Stir on medium-high as bubbles form, and continue to stir until the sugar is dissolved as much as possible and the coating on the pecans becomes sticky, 6 to 8 minutes. Remove from the heat and spread the mixture onto a baking sheet to cool. Refrigerate for about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, buttermilk, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla extract. Use a spatula to release the pecans from the cooled sheet. Add the cooled pecans to the bowl and stir. Make the ice cream one of the following ways:
1. Get fancy and put it in your home ice cream maker and prepare according to the manufacturer's instructions. Place in an air tight 2-quart container and freeze for at least 5 hours, stirring every 30 minutes for the first 2 hours, then every hour for 3 more hours.
2. Add 2 cups ice and 1/2 cup coarse sea salt to a large plastic storage container. Pour the ice cream mixture into a 1-gallon plastic storage bag and seal, squeezing out as much air as possible. Place this bag in the plastic storage container and cover with the lid. Shake vigorously for 10 to 15 minutes. Add more ice and salt if needed halfway through the spin cycle. Depends on your shakin'! Once the shaking is done and you've checked for the right texture for your ice cream, remove the bag from the container and rinse off quickly in cold water. Open and scoop ice cream out, or cut a hole in the corner of the bag and squeeze it out.

(Getty Images) H&M will reveal its highly anticipated Versace collection on Saturday in the United States. Europeans, meanwhile, will get their hands on line tomorrow. But in either case, here's what you need to know.
In an interview with the New York Times , designer Donatella Versace opened up about the line, her inspirations, and what drove her to develop the collection with H&M. And while we have no way of knowing how may suits the retail giant will sell, we can say that the buzz building around the launch is palpable.

With a variety of items set to hit stores, it appears that most dresses will fall in the $150 to $300 range. Not looking for a dress? No worry, you can scoop up a $129 pair of heels.

But make sure to show up to your local H&M early if you are hoping to score some goods. Doors will open at 8 a.m.
